The Greater Olney Non-Profit Consortium is open to all non-profit organizations that operate within the areas of Olney, Sandy Spring, Ashton, Brinklow, Brookeville, and Laytonsville.

This calendar of Olney area events is produced and published by the Greater Olney Non-Profit Consortium. The online calendar, www.inOlney.com, was created and is maintained by red letter design (www.RedLetterDesign.net). The paper version of the calendar is printed by of the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations (www.mdnonprofit.org). The printed copies of the calendar are placed in area stores, libraries, and government centers. Copies are also available by mail from the Olney Chamber of Commerce at 301 924-3555.

The Mission of the Greater Olney Non-Profit Consortium is to:
- Provide a forum for sharing information and resources.
- Publish a periodic calendar of known community events that will help organizations schedule their events more effectively and avoid, to the extent possible, conflicts with other scheduled events.
- Educate and inform the public of upcoming events through publication and distribution of the community calendar.
